♥ SPORTS DAY!
Today was our school sports day! It was very tiring but awesome too~
1st the annual festival starts with the marching. I was marching for St. John Ambulance. There were lots of other different uniforms body and also the 4 house which is St. Hilda, St, Catherine, St. Elizabeth (my sports house) and St. Veronica. Each Sport Houses have their own PomPom's gruop which is similar to Cheer leading. The clothing for PomPom's was nice and Our St. Elizabeth came up with an army style. It was cool and also in the end St. Eli won for the marching. Hurray!
Before the beginning of the sports carnival, Mr. Siva & Mr. Abu gave a speech for the prayers and the Principle also gave out with her own speech. After the speech was over the VIP (which I don't know what is the person name is so I named him as VIP) ring the Gong and that's where the Carnival started.
The Marchers who are also participate in the athletes quickly went off to change their cloths included me ;) The girl's toilet was 'FULL HOUSE'! Many people went in and rush off and I also needed to wait like 10mins before i could get my turn in and change my clothes.
In the beginning the track was slippery because the morning weather was wet that's why some athletes fell of the ground while they are running. Each houses were cheering for they own Team and you could hear all the shouting and screams all the way through even when you're on the track. After some tracks events it was my turn to run on the track. I participated on the long distance which is 800m and 1500m.
As it stared, I was in the 1st position who end the 1st round which I manage to cut through St. Hilda. But then during the 2nd round, my ponytail start to fall slowly. I don't know weather should i tie it or leave it and that made me run slower. So i decide to tie it up back and while i tied it up back I started to feel uncomfortable to run. My legs getting numb and heaver and 3 people manage to catch up with me. I've tried to ran as fast as i can but i could feel it getting more numb. In the end I end up with 4th place. GOSH!! SO CLOSE~! But after i went back to my sit one of my friend who was around the track and cheer for me told me that while i run in the 2nd round my face look soo pale and my lips was blackish blue. I think it's because i ate 2 pieces of bread and a glass of hot Milo. (Hmm.. maybe i doesn't got enough stamina during that time. After a long break it was 1500m and u know what!? I MISS OUT THAT EVENT!!!! I CAN'T BELIVE I WOULD MISS OUT! I'm soo terribly miss that chance and let my partner ran alone. ISH! But she took 3rd place in it. I'm SORRY~~ T^T
The events continued till the end of it and most likely St. Vero won the most in it. Now it's time to announcing the winner. For uniforms body, Girl's Bridget is the winner. I totally love the way they are marching. It was so accurate and neat. For Sports houses St. Eli won the prize but for the overall events St. Vero won the most points. Congratz to St. Vero. Vero's team were extremely excited about the victory they had won. After that it's time to leave the field and people were leaving.
But before we all leave we were asked to make sure the surrounding was clean. There were many left overs of food for the athletes so teacher decide to gave away free for us even for those who are not athletes but the food is also depends on what houses you're in.
People were waiting for their cars to arrived but for me I walk back home with my friend Sophia as her dad gonna pick her up at my place. It was a tiring but awesome day =D
